The Raja Saab had faced mixed reactions ahead of its release due to delays and underwhelming promotions, but interest surged after Trailer 2.0 impressed viewers with its enhanced visuals. Addressing speculation, director Maruthi confirmed that the film uses no AI-generated shots, stating that all visuals were created from scratch to maintain depth and cinematic quality, especially for 4K and 8K formats.
While acknowledging AI’s future potential, Maruthi said its practical use in filmmaking is still a few years away and may eventually help reduce CG costs for smaller films. He also revealed that the film’s climax runs for nearly 40 minutes, blending action and drama in a continuous sequence following a song.
The trailer has sparked discussion over Prabhas’ Joker-like look in the final moments, which has divided opinion online. Starring Prabhas alongside Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar, with Boman Irani and Zarina Wahab in key roles, The Raja Saab is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, with music by SS Thaman.
