Fatima Sana Sheikh may only be a couple of films old in the industry, but she’s managed to impress the biggest of actors and directors with her work. While Dangal got her unprecedented success, her last film Thug of Hindostan failed to impress the critics and audiences. Now, the ‘Dangal’ actress could star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Salute’. The much ambitious project is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
A report published by Bollywood Hungama said, “The makers are still on a hunt for the leading lady. Fatima Sana Shaikh too is being considered for the role.They seem to be quite impressed with her performances and she is one of the leading contenders for it.”
Fatima had earlier said in an interview with the entertainment portal that if there's one person in the industry that she gets nervous to be around, that's Shah Rukh Khan. She had reportedly also said that she is dying to work with him.No official announcement has been made about the choice for the lead actress in the movie.
Salute is one of the most anticipated projects and it stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The film is based on the life of legendary astronaut Rakesh Sharma. The story has been one of the most inspiring ones and seeing SRK slip into the role of the character will be so much fun to watch.
