Vishal Krisna Reddy, he is called upon as Vishal as a stage name. Being the son of a producer, Vishal Reddy has enough experience about the film industry. Before making his debut as an actor, he worked as an assistant director of Arjun. Vishal Reddy’s brother alias Vikram Krishna is also an actor, who appeared in Poo Parikka Varugirom alongside Malavika.

This film has Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan too. Chellamae is the debut movie of Vishal Krishna as an actor. This film was a hit movie and the victory was shared by Reema Sen, Vivek and Bharath. All the three of them did a notable role in this film. Sanda Kozhi was his next venture and it was a sensational hit in all the places where it was screened. Meera Jasmine and Raj Kiran have important roles in that film. Thimiru with Reema Sen and Shriya Reddy was also a big hit. Sriya Reddy has a good villainy role in this film and got positive criticism.

She is the sister in law of Vishal. Though the story of Sivappathigaaram with Mamta Mohandas was good, the film did not get hit. Vishal is one among the dedicated actors in the film industry, who hurt themselves to live as the character. He made his eyes squinted to act in Avan Ivan and applauded very much for his risky performance. Pattathu Yaanai with Aishwarya Arjun, the daughter of action king Arjun, did not go well; but his next film Pandiya Naadu was a hit. His film Samar with Trisha is a different story and gave an average hit. He is performing in Paayum Puli and Madha Gaja Raja at present.

He made his television debut as a host of Sun Naam Oruvar (2018), a talk show airing on Sun TV.
