The first look poster of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film `Beast' was released on the occasion of the actor's birthday. The poster has taken the internet by storm. Directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar,`Beast' will be produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. The shoot for Thalapathy Vijay starrer Beast is now marching ahead at a solid pace in Chennai. After filming a song and some talkie portions at a resort, the team has now moved to some locations closer to the Chennai airport for the same.
The latest buzz about this film states that the first single of Beast is likely to be released on October 16th which marks the birthday of music director Anirudh Ravichander. The team is planning to wrap the shooting before October and the film is expected to hit the theatres for a mega Pongal release.
The film has Pooja Hegde in lead. Pooja had earlier acted in a Tamil film `Mugamudi' and it released in 2012.But the film hasn't fetched any more roles. It is after a decade since she is making a comeback in Tamil cinema. Market watchers said it is could be her career's biggest break as she will be seen in Thalapathy Vijay's movie.
Beast is going to be a high-octane action drama in which Vijay is likely going to play a commander or a secret agent. There is a possibility that Beast features a vigilante angle which is pretty much common in every commercial cinema.
