Valimai is one of the most awaited and highly anticipated films of the South. Since the title announcement, this movie has been carrying crazy expectations and fans have been eager for any update. The sources close to the film unit revealed an update on the film's first look.
As per the latest reports, the makers are now in plans to reveal the first look poster of the film in August. However, we have to wait for a few more days to get the exact date.
Ajith's fans have been asking for Valimai update for almost two years now. The first-look poster was supposed to release on May 1, on Ajith's 50th birthday. But, the makers decided to postpone the film's promotions due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
A few months ago, Yuvan shared that Ajith's introduction number in Valimai will be a power-packed folk song. Speaking about the introduction song, Yuvan Shankar Raja said, "Ethu oru Seriyana mass song! (This is a perfect mass song)." Director Vignesh Shivan has written the lyrics of the song for which folk drummers from Odisha were brought in for the recording.
Directed by H Vinoth, Valimai is a cop drama produced, by Boney Kapoor. The trio had earlier worked in Nerkonda Paarvai, the official Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster film, Pink. Valimai stars Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Yogi Babu and Sumitra in key roles.
