Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 to launch in June?
Here's good news for fans of the reality TV series Bigg Boss Tamil. The latest buzz is that the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Tamil is all set to kick start sooner than expected.
Bigg Boss Tamil 5 is expected to be launched in the month of June and the makers have already begun the pre-production activities. BB Tamil host Kamal Haasan is also expected to return to host the upcoming season of the show as well. All the four previous seasons were hosted by Kamal. But with general elections around the corner and Kamal focused on his political commitments, there is a possibility that he might be replaced by some one else, too. Meanwhile, it was reported on social media that Kamal Haasan will be producing Big Boss - 5 season as the previous producer dropped the show.
Endemol Shine, a Dutch company which had the copy rights of BigBoss show was acquired by a French company called Banijay last year. Banijay is one of the most reputed and largest companies in the world. The company has also been producing some series for Vijay TV for the last few years.
Kamal Haasan's Rajkamal Films and Turmeric Media have teamed up with Banijay to produce some shows, including OTT web series. Sources say that it is rumored that Kamal Haasan will be producing the Big Boss 5 show with this in mind.According to latest reports all licenses for the Big Boss 5 season are now with Banijay and Kamal Haasan will host the show and has nothing to do with the production of this show.
The first three seasons of the Bigg Boss Tamil commenced in the second or third week of June and got concluded in September. However, Bigg Boss Tamil 4 was an exception with a delayed launch in October, 2020, due to COVID-19 spread. The season concluded with a grand finale on January 17, 2021. Actor Aari Arjuna emerged as the title winner of Bigg Boss Tamil 4.
