Vishnu Vishal's hit thriller Ratsasan is all set to be remade in Hindi. Ranjit Tiwari, the director of Bell Bottom will helm the remake and Rakul Preet Singh is all set to reprise Amala Paul's role.
The latest remake news in town is the one of Ratsasan. The Tamil thriller is rated as one of the best movies in the genre to come out in recent years. Now, news is coming that a Hindi remake is being planned. Akshay Kumar will be stepping into the shoes of Vishnu Vishal while Rakul Preet Singh is being considered for Amala Paul's part. This news was done by an entertainment portal last night and people are sharing it on social media. Ratsasan with its spine-chilling story and scary moments is loved all over India. Vishnu Vishal jointly produced the film as well.
A source close to the development shared, "It's titled Mission Cinderella and Akshay plays the role of a cop in the film. The makers are planning to shoot it in London with some locations around in the United Kingdom. It's an action thriller, with Akshay on the run to track down a child abduction racket, which has been called Cinderella. The producers are tentatively referring to the film as Project Cinderella, and have registered titles like Cinderella and Mission Cinderella with the association."
Actress Rakul Preet has been casted alongside Akshay in the project. Akshay is on a roll as of now. He has wrapped up close to half a dozen movies within last 10 months or so and all of them are awaiting right time for the release.
