We had reported earlier that Priya Bhavani Shankar will be playing the female lead opposite Vikram in his upcoming venture that is tentatively titled ‘Vikram 58’ that would be directed by Ajay Gnanmuthu.
According to the latest reports, she could be withdrawing herself from the project. It is said that the call sheet allotted by Priya Bhavani Shankar for 'Vikram 58' has been given to 'Indian 2' due to delays on both sides and now it has become difficult to adjust the dates again. Sources say that if the 'Meyadhamaan' actress is unable to provide all the required dates the team would have no other option but to look for an alternative.
Vikram 58 has music by AR Rahman and is funded by Viacom 18 Studios and Seven Screen. Meanwhile, Vikram will next be seen in Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram followed by the multilingual Mahavir Karna and Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan.
