Vijay - Lokesh Kanagaraj film to start rolling from October 1st week.

Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for the release of his 63rd movie Bigil in which he will be seen romancing Nayanthara. The film is a sports actioner directed by Atlee and is slated to hit the theatres this Diwali. 

Meanwhile, the star actor is also getting ready to begin shooting for 'Thalapathy 64' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of 'Maanagaram' fame. Reports are that Vijay will complete the dubbing for 'Bigil' by the end of this month and take a month-long break to get in shape for his new film with Lokesh.

The film will be a completely different one which will showcase the Thalapathy in an entirely new avatar that will be a joyous treat for his fans. The shooting of the Thalapathy 64 is all set to begin in the first week of October.

The makers have approached Kiara Advani to play the romantic interest of Vijay in the film. In the technical department, Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music and Sathyan Sooryan will crank the camera and bankrolled by Xavier Britto. The makers are eyeing for an early 2020 festival release.
