The visuals in the trailer of the Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer "Saaho", which was released on Saturday, take viewers on an exhilarating ride featuring high-octane action on a scale not seen in Indian cinema often.
The trailer begins with a heist that has taken place in Mumbai and the probe into the same. Prabhas appears as the undercover cop would investigate the robbery. He gets a great intro with some fine action scenes. We are then introduced to the character of Shraddha Kapoor, who is a crime branch officer. The baddies, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi and Arun Vijay are introduced later. After a few action sequences, there is the customary romance and dance and song routine, assuring the audience that the film will have every ingredient of a mass masala thriller.
What follows then are some of the action sequences that remind you of some big-budget Hollywood flicks. The movie, starring Prabhas in the lead, is set to be released on August 30. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho marks the Tollywood debut of Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor. Apart from Shraddha and Prabhas, the movie also stars Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Arun Vijay in the lead.
Saaho’s action choreographers are Kenny Bates, Peng Zhang, Dhilip Subbarayan, Bob Brown, Ram-Lakshman, Stefan and Stunt Shiva. The ambitious film has cinematography by Madhie, production design by Sabu Cyril, editing by Sreekar Prasad, background music by Ghibran, and visual effects supervised by Kamalakannan.
