Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is making Kollywood cinema proud by winning the Best Actor award for his performance in Super Deluxe at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. The movie, which won an honorary award 'Equality in Cinema' at the festival, is directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja.
Interacting with the media at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Vijay Sethupathi confirmed that Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan met him recently and they are in talks to work together for a project. Vijay Sethupathi said that an official announcement on his collaboration with Aamir Khan will be out soon.
Sources say that Aamir Khan met Vijay Sethupathi on the sets of Sanga Tamizhan. "Aamir Khan and Sethupathi spoke at length on various topics. They shared their mutual admiration and when Aamir pitched an idea to Sethupathi, he readily agreed", said a source close to team Sanga Tamizhan
Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Sindhubaadh, which was an average grosser at the box office. The actor, who is awaiting the release of Telugu film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has a handful of Tamil films at different stages of production.
The individuals chosen for the respective characters are excellent and they matched with their roles.
