Vijay is gearing up for the release of his 63rd movie Bigil in which he will be seen romancing Nayanthara. The film is a sports actioner directed by Atlee and is slated to hit the theatres this Diwali.
For his next movie after Bigil, rumours have already started doing the rounds regarding the female lead. While previously it was speculated that either Rakul Preet Singh or Rashmika Mandanna would be making the cut, newer reports suggest that Kiara Advani would be seen opposite Vijay in Thalapathy Vijay's 64th movie.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, the director of the movie, has reportedly decided on roping in Bollywood actress Kiara Advani to play the female protagonist. If this comes to fruition, Kiara would also be making her Tamil debut soon after having already dipped her toes in the Telugu film industry last year.
According to reports, Kiara has been impressed by Lokesh Kanagaraj's script and is keen to adjust her dates for the shooting. Currently, she has a bunch films like-- Shershaah and Laxmi Bomb, the remake of Tamil film Muni 2: Kaanchana. The role of the villain in Thalapathy 64 will be played by Malayalam actor Antony Varghese.
Produced by Xavier Britto, the crew from the producer's upcoming film 'Kaithi,' starring Karthi, has pretty much been retained for Thalapathy 64. The music of the film will be composed by Anirudh. Sathyan Sooryan to crank the camera and Philomin Raj will take care of the cuts.
