Amitabh to play transgender person in Akshay`s Laaxmi Bomb.

Kollywood Actor - Film Maker Raghava Lawrence is all set to make his foray into Bollywood film industry with the remake of Kanchana. The makers of the film kick-started the shooting of the film recently with the lead actor Akshay Kumar while Kiara Advani joined the team just a day ago. Titled Laaxmi Bomb, Kanchana remake has been grabbing a lot of attention ever since makers of the film made an announcement on the same. Now according to the latest buzz, Amitabh Bachchan is said to be a part of the film and will be seen in a never seen character on the big screen.

According to a report in India Today, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan might be seen in an important role as a transgender. In the original Tamil version, Sarathkumar played the role of a transgender named Kanchana. However, no official confirmation regarding Big B’s role has been made yet. Kanchana Hindi remake is one of the much awaited films as Akshay Kumar is all set to return to the horror-comedy genre. The original Kanchana featured the protagonist possessed with three ghosts.

A report in India Today suggests that the legendary star has already given his nod and his scenes will be shot soon. Laaxmi Bomb is being directed by Raghava Lawrence who helmed the Tamil series and also acted in it. A report in Mumbai Mirror earlier revealed that Raghava wanted to cast either Amitabh Bachchan or Sanjay Dutt in the role of the transgender ghost because of the depth of their voice. And now, seems like he actually managed to convince the former for the role.
According to reports, in the Hindi remake, the sequence where Akshay Kumar's character is possessed by a ghost will be the turning point in the story and the scene will take place at Kiara's house in the film.Meanwhile, Raghava Lawrence who is recently basking in success with the release of Kanchana 3, is making a lot of changes to the script as per the taste of Bollywood audience.

Laaxmi Bomb features Akshay Kumar as a man who doesn’t fear ghost and Kiara Advani in the character of his wife. The film is being currently shot in Mumbai as the makers are eyeing an early 2020 release for Laaxmi Bomb.
