The movie ‘2.0’ starring Superstar Rajinikanth, that earned worldwide acclaim is reportedly being dubbed in Chinese and will be released in China soon.
Lyca Productions is all set to release Rajinikanth’s magnum opus 2.0 in China. The film, which has been breaking records in India, will release on 56,000 screens (including 47,000 3D screens) in China in May 2019.
The demand for Indian films has witnessed a comprehensive growth in China in the last three years. Many Indian films like ‘Dangal’, ‘PK’, ‘Secret Superstar’, ‘Hichki’, ‘Sultan’ and others have received an overwhelming response in China. And now, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘2.0’ is all set to hit the theatres in China. However, the film’s title has been changed to ‘Bollywood Robot 2.0: Resurgence’.

Importantly, it is being released in China by the producers Lyca, in association with HY Media, one of the largest film distributing companies in Beijing.Recently, the Chinese distributors have released a first look poster.
The movie ‘2.0’, a director Shankar - Superstar Rajinikanth combined effort and product, and it did exceedingly well at the box office. The 3-D science fiction film produced at a cost of around Rs 500 crores earned in excess of Rs 950 Cr through its worldwide collections. The film dubbed in Hindi alone grossed Rs 200 Cr. A sequel of 'Enthiran' released in 2010, this Shankar-Rajini combo once again eyes success through 2.0.
It is worth to mention here that if the film runs successfully in China, it will gain an entry into the Rs 1500 Cr club.
