Petta Box Office Collection: Petta collection has reportedly zoomed past the Rs 100+ crore mark in just in 3 days.
The Rajinikanth starrer is going strong at the box office all across the world. Superstar Rajinikanth is back with his latest film Petta, an action film with female leads Simran & Trisha directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Petta has opened with a good number in the Tamil Nadu box office despite strong competition from Ajith Kumar's mass entertainer Viswasam released simultaneously on 10th January, 2019.

Petta, an action-packed commercial entertainer, has zoomed past the Rs 100 Crore mark worldwide in its 3 days. Petta 3rd day box office collection saw good growth. It collected around Rs. 15 Crore and took its total to Rs.41.90 Crore in Tamil Nadu Box Office despite 70% screen sharing with Viswasam. Its box office collection from other states is very good around Rs. 28.00 Crore till Saturday. Petta worldwide collection arrived at Rs. 116.90 Crore. Petta collection jumped to Rs 9 crore in Karnataka alone in just two days.
Petta may earn 17 Crore on its fourth day.It collected around Rs.17 Crore and took its total to Rs.48.70 Crore in Tamil Nadu Box Office despite 90% screen sharing with Viswasam. Its box office collection from other states is very good [Telugu: 1.50 Cr; Hindi: 0.50 Cr]

The Rajinikanth starrer is having a smashing run at the box office in India as well as across the globe. Petta leads over Viswasam in Chennai City Box Office. Petta 3rd day collection was Rs.1.29 Cr. and took total to Rs. 3.49 Crore whereas Viswasam collected Rs.2.78 Cr. in 3 days in the Chennai city.According to the latest government order, theatres are having five shows of Petta and Viswasam, which is a huge help to their box office collection.
Petta, produced by Sun Pictures, stars Rajinikanth in the lead role along with a stellar ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Trisha, Simran, Bobby Simhaa and Sasikumar among others.The film was released on January 10.
