Today, Thalivar Rajinikanth has turned 68 and his fans celebrated this day by indulging in several welfare activities. As a birthday gift, the makers of Petta released the film's teaser.
In the teaser, Rajinikanth's swag is hard to go unnoticed. He walks stylishly into the crowd where he is welcomed with hoots and whistles. It looks like Karthik Subbaraj has taken us back to the 90s where Rajinikanth was his energetic self.
The one minute teaser shows Rajinikanth in two avatars, both of which were teased in posters released earlier - the jeans, shirt and scarf look and the shirt, veshti and the 70s handlebar mustache look.The teaser was received with a great response from his fans. Within 40 minutes the teaser received about 1+ million views on YouTube.
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Petta stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Sasikumar, Bobby Simhaa, Megha Akash, Malavika Mohanan, Sananth, and many others.
