Official : Bruce Willis Signs 3 Film Deals With MoviePass Films.

Bruce Willis has made a three-film deal with MoviePass Films. MoviePass Films CEOs and Co-founders Randall Emmett, George Furla, and Ted Farnsworth set the deal.

Willis has made fourteen films with Emmett/Furla/Oasis, including “16 Blocks” and “Lay the Favorite,” and so this will continue that relationship.

“We consider Bruce a part of the MoviePass family at this point. Bruce is not only one of the biggest worldwide movie stars but is also a force to be reckoned with, and we look forward to the future with him,” Emmett said of the deal.

Willis was equally happy to keep their relationship going. After 15 years, I look forward to continuing to work with Randall and George in the coming year,” he said.

The first of the three films will be “Trauma Center” which will begin shooting in February in Miami.Additional casting is underway on the film. Emmett, Furla and Lydia Hull will produce Trauma Center, while Ted Farnsworth, Tim Sullivan and Alex Eckert will executive produce. Willis’ “10 Minutes Gone” is currently in post-production.

MoviePass Films parent company has spent the back half of 2018 dealing with wave after wave of bad press. The company is currently under investigation for allegedly misleading investors and they won back no goodwill when they unveiled a new, more expensive and infinitely more complicated pricing plan to replace the one that left them hemorrhaging money.  This comes after they welched on their initial promise of 1 movie per day.
