Former Chief Minister and screenwriter of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi, who was fondly called as Kalaignar Karunanidhi passed away today at the age of 94. The multi-talented personality breathed his last in Kauveri hospital at 6: 10 pm. His unfortunate demise has shattered the heart of many celebs in Tamil Nadu. Abirami Ramanathan and Rohini Pannerselvam, who are members of the Theatre’s Association have cancelled all the shows of evening and night across the state.
Known as one of the prominent leaders, Karunanidhi had dedicated 80 years of his life in the service of Tamil Nadu people. Many celebs from the industry expressed their grief on Twitter.
