Helmed by Reema Kagti the film starring Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy in the lead role. This is the 1st film for Mouni Roy. She is a Popular Serial Actress acted in many serials which got her the chance to act in Akshay Kumar’s movie.
Produced by Excel Entertainment the film got an excellent opening with 27 Cr to beat Baaghi 2 to become as the 3rd highest opener of the year after Sanju and Padmaavat. Also this the highest opening day grosser Akshay Kumar ever in his career. His Previous best was Singh is Bling with 20.25 Cr.
The main plus for the film is being released on the independence day eve which gives lots of energy for the film.
Even on the 2nd day, the hype of the film hasn’t decreased, though the film’s collection was reduced on day 2 yet it was not a big difference from day 1. On day 2 the film has made around 8 Cr.
On 3rd day the film’s collections further decreased down to 10 Cr since Friday was not a holiday but the film will definitely have a grand weekend and the weekend collections will surely cross 100 Cr mark and this will be 1st Akshay Kumar film to reach this.
The film is also performing well in the overseas too and even the celebrities are loving the movie and giving a positive feedback.
As per movie-rater’s prediction the film will definitely cross 200 Cr at Indian Box Office.
