Ajith Kumar and director H Vinoth are teaming up for the first time for an upcoming yet-untitled Tamil film. Now, the grapevine is abuzz with the news that Ajith Kumar is likely to remake the Bollywood superhit thriller ‘Pink’, which was directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
According to reports, H Vinoth reportedly wanted to direct a fresh script and wasn’t interested in doing a remake. However, Ajith Kumar had already given his word to producer Boney Kapoor, who will be bankrolling the project in Tamil. Reports also suggest that the makers might tweak the story a little bit for the audiences here. Reportedly, Ajith Kumar will reprise Amitabh Bachchan’s role as the lawyer in the remake. An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.H Vinoth is known for helming blockbusters like Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran Adhigaram Ondru.
