She's the younger sister of pop-star Kylie Minogue, who enjoyed a short-lived marriage to Julian McMahon in 1994.And on Sunday, Dannii Minogue opened up about how she really feels about her sister and ex-husband kissing in their new movie Swinging Safari.
Speaking to Stellar magazine, the 46-year-old said that it doesn't bother her at all and cheekily said the smooch must've been great.'She said you go into these projects and you have just got to go with the flow because he's going to try to push all of the actors to the limit to get the craziest stuff.'
'But it's such a powerful cast. Julian is fantastic, Guy [Pearce], and all the other actors. How could it not be great?' she continued. But according to Julian, Kylie was taken aback in the moment.
Speaking to news.com.au last month, the 49-year-old said she was horrified.
'Stephan said 'Do what you want Julian!' and I thought, 'Bugger it, I'll get up and snog my ex-sister-in-law',' he said calling it an 'impromptu moment. 'She had this great reaction,' he added pulling a horrified face, 'like she was being attacked by some kind of creature. It was very funny.'
'I never had any weirdness to be honest. It feels like another lifetime ago, so it's hard to relate to it completely,' he continued.
Julian and Dannii were married for 18-months spanning from 1994-95.
Today, the former Home And Away heartthrob is married to Kelly Paniagua and shares one daughter Madison McMahon, 17, with ex-wife Brooke Burns.
