Nadodigal 2 shooting begins:
Nadodigal is a film that created a special place for Sasikumar and Samuthirakani in the Tamil film industry. Sasikumar and Samudhrakani are back again for a sequel to their 2009 Hit movie Nadodigal which went on floors on Friday. While Anjali has been roped in for the first time to play opposite Sasikumar, Athulya Ravi will also be seen as one of the female leads. Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises bankrolls the project.
A source reveals that Nadodigal 2 is not a continuation of the earlier hit but the flick will retain the basic theme and flavour of the original. Bharani and Namo Narayanan, who figured in the original, have been cast in vital roles. Other supporting cast includes Thulasi, MS Bhaskar, Sree Ranjani and Super Subbarayan. Justin Prabhakaran composes the tracks.
National award winning cinematographer Ekambaram is behind the camera. The movie will be shot extensively in Madurai and its surroundings.
