Director Gowtham Vasudev Menon has shared important updates regarding his long-delayed spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram, starring Chiyaan Vikram. Speaking about the film’s journey, the filmmaker revealed that he had originally envisioned the project as a cinematic universe with multiple sequels as early as 2018.
However, the film faced several setbacks over the years due to various production and financial challenges, which significantly delayed its release. Menon also disclosed that the success of LEO played a crucial role in helping Dhruva Natchathiram, as the funds generated were used to support and complete the project.
“We have now completed everything,” the director stated, adding that a few legal issues surfaced close to the planned release date. He confirmed that most of these issues have been resolved, with only one remaining obstacle yet to be cleared.
Reassuring fans, Menon expressed confidence that the final pending issue will be sorted out within this week, bringing the film one step closer to its long-awaited release.
