According to industry sources and official statements from the production house Dawn Pictures, the decision to advance the release came after distributors and theatre owners expressed strong confidence in the film’s box office potential and recommended an earlier date to ensure better screen allocation and building momentum ahead of the crowded festive window.

With the new date, Parasakthi now enters into a direct clash with Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan — Jana Nayagan is scheduled to release on January 9, 2026.
