Superstar Mahesh Babu’s action entertainer Guntur Kaaram was released yesterday amidst massive fan celebrations and high expectations. Despite below-par word of mouth and reviews, Guntur Kaaram has set a record start in Mahesh’s career and for a regional film.
Apart from Ceeded region, Guntur Kaaram established good openings in all territories. The movie’s total theatrical rights are valued at 135Cr and on 1st day the film has collected more than Rs 53Cr share and recovered 40% on its opening day which is a very good Day 1 figure.
The shares are including GST in Nizam and Andhra [6 Territories]. Worldwide the film is 4th biggest opening for Telugu after RRR, Salaar, and Baahubali2.
