Rajinikanth praises 'Jigarthanda Double X' Team.

 

Rajinikanth praised the team of 'Jigarthanda Double X' and wrote a letter addressed to them in Tamil. It can be loosely translated into English as, "Jigarthanda Double X is like a Kurinji flower (which blooms once in 12 years). (It's) A wonderful work by Karthik Subbaraj. Different story and plot. (The movie comes with) New scenes that movie-lovers have never seen before. Can (Raghava) Lawrence act like this too?"

He then added, "It makes us wonder in surprise. SJ Suryah is the Nadigavel (translates to King of Acting, it is a title given to late MR Radha for his acting skills) of present day's (Tamil) film industry. He has mixed and excelled in the combination of villain, comedy and character. (Cinematographer) Tirru's camera has played. Art director's [production designer T Santanam] work is brilliant. (Stunt director) Dhilip Subbrayan's fight scenes are amazing. Santhosh Narayanan is the king of composing offbeat music for different films. He brings this film to life with music and proves that he is a master music composer."

Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj shared Rajinikanth's letter and wrote, "When Thalaivar said "For my boys" #JigarthandaDoubleX Love you Thalaivaaa (sic)."
