Even though the theatres have opened in most of the regions across India, some of the big films are still skeptical to go for a theatrical release and are opting for a direct digital release. Some others are forced to go for a direct OTT release due to pre-signed agreements.The latest biggie to join the list of direct OTT releases is Kathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
Director Vignesh Shivan's fourth feature film titled 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' is complete and is awaiting release. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha, and promises to be a romantic comedy playing on a triangular love story angle between its lead actors. While the second single from the film was released recently, the latest buzz states that a popular OTT platform is in talks with the team and it looks like the much-awaited film might release directly on the OTT platform skipping theatrical release.
Though Vijay Sethupathi has already worked with both Samantha and Nayanthara, this film marks the first time collaboration between Samantha and Nayanthara. 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio in association with Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures.
