The show will be made in Telugu and is likely to be dubbed into other languages. Trisha took to her Instagram stories to reveal that she had started shooting for the web series. The show was launched on October 15 with a special pooja.

Trisha was last seen in Paramapadham Vilayattu, which directly premiered on Disney+Hotstar. However, the film received negative reviews from the critics and audience alike.

SonyLIV and Trisha announced Brinda with a small puja ceremony on October 16. The puja ceremony was attended by the crew of Brinda. Today (October 16), Trisha took to her Instagram stories to share a video in which the makers extended a warm welcome to her.

In the video, Trisha was gifted a bouquet of roses. The makers welcomed Trisha with a small message, which read, "Welcome on board our Brinda Miss: Trisha Krishnan and Stories and team (sic)."

Reportedly, Trisha will be shooting for Brinda and the Kannada film Dvitva simultaneously.

Trisha recently wrapped up the shooting of director Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, which will release in two parts. The first part of Ponniyin Selvan will release in theatres in the summer of 2022. She plays the role of princess Kundavai in the period drama.
