Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi made her Tamil debut with Rajinikanth's 'Kaala', and played his love interest in the film. The beautiful actress signed her next Tamil film 'Valimai' featuring Ajith in the lead role, and she was expected to play the female lead in the film. However, as per her recent report, Huma will have no romantic connection with Ajith as she will portray a close friend to Ajith in 'Valimai'. The director of the film, H Vinoth revealed in an interview with a magazine about Huma's character. He also stated that earlier, the makers had planned some romantic portions between Ajith and Huma Qureshi, but it eventually underwent few changes in the story post the pandemic attack.
H Vinoth however assures a perfect cop drama for the fans during Pongal 2022. He also shared how Ajith clearly instructed him that he would only do bike chase scenes by wearing protective gear and a helmet.
'Valimai' is going to be a powerful action drama packed with racing and action sequences, and Ajith will be seen as a casual cop. The director has strongly talked about a social problem in the film, and the extensive promotions for the film will begin in November. 'Valimai' is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, and it has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
