One of the most awaited films in Tamil cinema is Chiyaan Vikram's upcoming film directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film which marks Vikram's 60th film and tentatively called 'Chiyaan60' also has his son Dhruv Vikram in the lead. According to the latest reports, the whole cast and crew of 'Chiyaan 60' took their vaccines as a precautionary measure. More than half of the filming is said to have completed, and the crew is all set to resume the next schedule.
The film has Chiyaan Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram acting together for the first time. In a recent interview, director Karthik Subbaraj has revealed that 50 percent shooting of the film has been completed and he is planning to resume the filming, once the lockdown restrictions are lifted in Tamil Nadu. The portions involving Vani Bhojan and Vikram are being planned to be shot soon.
Actress Simran, Vani Bhojan and Bobby Simhaa have also been roped in to play important roles in the action thriller. Initially, music director Anirudh Ravichander was brought on board, but now he has been replaced with Santhosh Narayanan. 'Chiyaan 60' is touted to be an action drama with revenge, and the film is produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studio.
