Annaatthe update : Super Star Rajnikanth's Annaatthe shoot to resume from March 15!
The shooting of superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Annaatthe' directed by Siva resumed recently in December after the lockdown due the current pandemic situation. The team had earlier been shooting in Hyderabad at Ramoji Film City, where sets were erected for the film. Unfortunately, the shooting came to a halt after four members of the team tested positive for COVID-19 despite following safety precautions and staying in a bio bubble.
According to reports, Rajinikanth will resume the shooting of his upcoming film Annaatthe in March 15. The makers are planning to wrap up the remaining portions of the film in a month. An official confirmation regarding the shooting schedule of Annaatthe will be out soon.
Rajinikanth will complete his portions in one schedule so that the film will have ample time for the post-production work. Earlier, the shooting of Annaatthe resumed in December 2020, but it had to be halted after members of the crew tested Covid-19 positive.
Even though Rajinikanth tested negative, he had a minor health scare. Due to severe fluctuations in blood pressure, he had to be hospitalised for a few days. The doctors who treated Rajinikanth in Hyderabad advised him to take rest and not take stress.
Produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Siva of Viswasam fame, Khushbu, Meena, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Soori, and Sathish are playing pivotal characters in the film.
Imman is composing the music for the film and Vetri cranks the camera. The film is scheduled to release for this Diwali.
