Tamil icon, superstar-turned-politician Rajinikanth is likely to announce his political party on Thursday.
Much has been talked about Superstar Rajinikanth's political entry and political party. Though he announced his political entry a year back, he did not announce the party name, let alone contest the elections. Rajini made it clear that he will contest the upcoming assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, though he continued shooting for his films and is now busy with his upcoming entertainer under the direction of Shiva.
Rumors spread earlier that Rajinikanth will announce his political party name on April 14th. Now fresh reports suggest that he will be announcing his party name tomorrow in a grand manner. Rajini held discussions with the district secretaries of Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) and will be holding discussions tomorrow also.
Functionaries of RMM revealed that they got calls from Rajini's office asking them to be available on Thursday at a marriage hall owned by Rajinikanth by 9AM. Rajini is expected to come with his political strategy and guide his party workers announcing the party principles.
In 2017, Rajinikanth had announced he will enter politics and field his party members in all the 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu. Terming his brand of politics as ‘spiritual’, Rajinikanth had said there is a political vacuum in Tamil Nadu for good leaders and leadership and if he comes to power he will revive former TN Chief Minister MG Ramachandran’s rule that took care of the poor, down-trodden and middle-class.
