Superstar Rajinikanth will be next be seen in Siva directorial, which is titled "Annaatthe". The project will be produced by Sun Pictures, who had earlier bankrolled Rajinikanth’s successful hits which includes director Shankar’s Endhiran and Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta.
The script of ‘Annathae’ revolves around the village life, and it also seems that it even has political elements in it.
Rajinikanth will be donning a rough rural look for the movie, and we will be witnessing a vintage Rajinikanth in the film. The latest report coming in from the 'Annathae' team suggests that popular Telugu hero Gopichand has been roped in to play the powerful villain against Rajini. If this turns out to be true this will be the action hero's second Tamil film after 'Jayam' which released eighteen years ago in 2002 that made the careers of Jayam Ravi and Mohan Raja.
Annaatthe began with a grand Pooja function on the 11th of December, and the first schedule of the movie was shot at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The cast members include Meena, Khushboo, Sathish, Prakash Raj, Soori, Nayanthara amongst others. D Imman will be composing music for this film and it will mark his first collaboration with Rajinikanth.
