Kamal Haasan's blockbuster to get a sequel? Deets Inside.
Filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan teamed up in 2006 for action-thriller Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu was one of the biggest grosser when it was released in 2006 and is still a hot favorite among Kamal fans.
It was said by Kamal Haasan last year that he will be doing another movie Thalaivan Irukkindraan, again produced by Lyca Productions and with AR Rahman composing music. It was also said that this movie will be the sequel of his super hit movie Thevar Magan.
Now the latest speculation that is making the rounds is that Kamal Haasan might join hands with director Gautham Vasudev Menon for Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2, the sequel to their 2006 superhit movie. Recently, Gautham and producer Isari Ganesh were seen in the meeting of the Gypsy team with Kamal, and this has sparked off these speculations, with Isari Ganesh projected to produce this sequel.
Menon, on the other hand, is struggling to wrap up two projects – Varun's Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha and Chiyaan Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram – which are stuck at various junctures of production.
Menon also has the highly-anticipated multi-starrer Ondraga in his kitty. This will unite stars from all the four southern industries. It has so far been confirmed that Prithviraj, Puneeth Rajkumar, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia are already on board.
