Chiyaan’s forthcoming film with director Ajay Gnanamuthu is one of the most anticipated films in recent times. Chiyaan Vikram has donned seven different characters for his upcoming film ‘Cobra’. The makers have released the first look poster from ‘Cobra’ on Friday (February 28). Chiyaan Vikram is known as the master of disguise for a reason and the actor proved it once again in the film’s poster.
From a professor to a politician, Vikram showed off his unrecognizable avatars in the first look poster. Ajay Gnanamuthu, the director of ‘Cobra’, took to social media to share the poster from this film.

The poster shows as many as seven characters, all played by the same actor, in different looks, ranging from a professor and politician to what seems to be a scientific mastermind connecting all the different people together in some way.
Playing different characters in the same film is not new for the actor, with his popular examples being Anniyan and Iru Mugan. However, Cobra takes the challenge to a new level, akin to Kamal Haasan in Dasavathaaram.

Cobra has Srinidhi Shetty of KGF fame will be the female lead of the movie where Vikram will essay the role of a photographer. This movie also stands as a debut one for former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan.
Cobra is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and is produced by Lalith Kumar under Seven Screen Studios and Viacomm 18 Studios banners. A R Rahman will look into music department and Siva Kumar Vijayan will handle cinematography department.
The much-awaited flick is slated to release in May 2020.
On the professional front, Vikram is currently busy with Mani Ratnam's ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, which also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
