No Cut-Out Please : Thalapathy Vijay & Suriya Ask Fans...?


On Friday morning, the 23-year-old was riding her bike when an illegal flex board hit her and tossed her on the road. Within seconds, a tanker lorry ran over her killing her on the spot. This devastating incident has enraged the citizens, who are blaming the political parties and film stars for the banner culture.

Actor Suriya has now come forward to request his fans not to erect banners or cut-out for him anywhere in Tamil Nadu. 

Suriya asked that the cut-out culture in Tamil Nadu see an end, especially after the tragic accident which has left the whole state saddened. The actor was speaking at a promotional event in Chennai for his upcoming film Kaappaan, where he appealed to his fans to take up social causes such as blood donation, instead of investing time and effort in erecting banners. 

Meanwhile,Actor Vijay has sent a circular through his fans club president Bussy Anand requesting fans not to put up banner and cutouts henceforth for his movies and especially asked them to completely avoid them on the 'Bigil' audio launch on September 19th.  

Suriya is gearing up for the release of Kaappaan. Directed by KV Anand, the film also has Mohanlal in the lead role. Boman Irani and Sayyeshaa Saigal, and Arya are also playing vital part in the film. Suriya's 'Kaappaan' hits the screens on September 20th.
