Chiyaan Vikram's Kadaram Kondan has reached an important milestone as the film hit a century by grossing over Rs 98.9 crore at the worldwide box office at the end of its second weekend.
According to trade reports, KadarmKondan reached the mark on Thursday, 1 August. The collection of the film has remained steady despite some new releases. The film has performed well and ran into packed houses at many centres.
After flop Saamy Square in 2018, Chiyaan Vikram back to the box office with a solid hit of Kadaram Kondan in 2019. The film is also doing good business in Kerala and Telugu.
As per the source, The movie is expected to gross over Rs. 50.89 Crore worldwide after the first weekend. Which is the third highest collection for Chiyaan Vikram after‘Irumugan’.Kadaram Kondan was made with a budget of Rs 30+ crore and the flick has turned out to be a profitable venture not only for the producer but also for the distributors and exhibitors, say reports.
It has earned over Rs 15 crore in Kerala. The trade Report has declared the film as this year’s third-biggest hit in terms of the box office collection after Rajinikanth’s Petta and Thala Ajith’s Viswasam.
