Over the last couple of years, there have been reports that Chiyaan Vikram will be doing a film for director Ajay Gnanamuthu of Demonte Colony and Imaikka Nodigal fame. Recently reports started to roll out saying that their film will go on floors from September.
Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Imaikka Nodigal might have hit the magical mark of 100 days, but it looks like the director has more reasons to rejoice. According to sources in the know, the Imaikka Nodigal filmmaker is in talks with Chiyaan Vikram for his next project. The source also clarified that the film isn’t a remake of Don’t Breathe.
After Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal, this movie is also a thriller and it has been said that just like Anurag Kashyap in Imaikkaa Nodigal, this Chiyaan Vikram movie will also have a Bollywood Villain and the shoot is said to be planned from September. As Mahavir Karna has been postponed, Chiyaan is expected to sign another project before he joins the sets of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan later this year.
Chiyaan Vikram was last seen on screen in the cop flick Saamy square directed by Hari, and is currently acting in his 56th movie Kadaram kondan directed by Thoongavanam fame Rajesh M Selva and Produced by Ulaga nayagan Kamal Haasan.Kadaram kondan also stars Akshara Haasan and Abi Haasan in key role. Music composer M Ghibran will score for the project, which is expected to release later in June 2019.
