Akshay's Kesari has had the biggest opening in 2019. Kesari has made history! After breaking first day and first weekend records, the Akshay Kumar - Parineeti Chopra starrer has went on to make Rs. 100 crore in 7 days, which is a record again.With 3600 screens across the country, Kesari is doing great business at the box office.
The film had a smashing opening on March 21. It earned a whopping figure of Rs 21.51 crore. By the end of the week, Kesari earned Rs 78.07 crore. Now, with Rs 8.25 crore and Rs 7.17 crore collections on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, the film’s total stands at Rs 93.49 crore.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari features Akshay as Havildar Ishar Singh, who led the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army in the Battle Of Saragarhi, which was fought in 1897. The film tells the powerful story of 21 Sikh soldiers fighting valiantly against 10,000 Afghan troops. Parineeti Chopra has a guest appearance, as Havildar Ishar Singh's wife.
