Kamal Haasan and Shankar have teamed up for a sequel to their 1996 film Indian. Titled Indian 2, the upcoming film created sky-high anticipation among fans since it will bring back the iconic Tamil cinema character Indian Thatha or Senapathy.
Reliable sources in the tamil industry say that the shoot of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming magnum opus Indian 2 will resume only after the Lok Sabha elections. Kamal Haasan has asked the film’s director Shankar to resume the shoot in May post the Lok Sabha elections as the actor will be busy campaigning for his own party Makkal Needhi Maiam.
Sources say that Shankar will kick start the third schedule of the film only in the month of May.Indian 2 has Kajal Aggarwal and Siddharth playing key roles in the film. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film is expected to hit the theatres in 2020.Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film.
