Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya is reportedly all set to marry actor businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi come February. Soundarya was earlier married to Ashwin Ramkumar for eight years. The couple had parted ways due to "irreconcilable differences" in 2016 and Soundarya had revealed that she and her husband had filed for divorce. In 2017, the divorce was finalised by mutual consent.Soundarya is also mother to six-year-old Ved Krishna, who lives with her.
Recently,Soundarya Rajinikanth and her mother Latha Rajinikanth visited Tirupati Balaji where they performed a special pooja with the wedding invitation, and now, it has been confirmed that Soundarya will tie the knot with actor and businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi on February 11 in Chennai. while the pre-wedding festivities will begin from February 9. Before the wedding ceremonies begin, a puja will be held at Rajinikanth's Chennai house in Poes Garden. The wedding will reportedly take place on a large scale after several parties, a haldi ceremony and a sangeet function.
As a graphic designer, Soundarya has worked on several films ( Chandramukhi and SivajiKochadaiiyaan, said-to-be India's first photorealistic motion capture film, starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone. Her last film as a director was Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 or VIP 2, featuring her brother-in-law Dhanush and Kajol.Vishagan Vanangamudi is the owner of a pharmaceutical company and is also an actor. He was last seen playing a pivotal role in Vanjagar Ulagam, which released last year.
