TN Govt Wants ARM To Apologise For Criticising Welfare Plans.

AR Murugadoss, who directed Sarkar with Vijay, Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar which is produced under the Sun Pictures banners of Kalanithi Maran had been in trouble for the story theft, before the film's release.

Now, the government has approached court asking AR Murugadoss to apologise for moking welfare plans in his film Sarkar. In the film, AR Murugadoss, in a cameo role, set freebies (mixie and grinder) given by a political party to Flame. The makers of Sarkar gave in to the pressure and removed the controversial scene.

However, it looks like the ruling party AIADMK is not convinced with filmmaker AR Murugadoss and the Sarkar team. The latest development is that the Tamil Nadu government wants AR Murugadoss to offer an unconditional apology for mocking welfare schemes. Also, the government has sought the High Court's help for the same.

Further, the ruling party AIADMK wants Murugadoss to issue a written statement that he would never criticise the government or its welfare schemes in his upcoming films.

AR Murugadoss's lawyer has responded to the petition filed by Tamil Nadu government saying that he will ask for the director's explanation. However, we have to wait for the official confirmation if the news is true!
