One of the most expected movie releases of this year Seema Raja gets finally released on the eve of Vinayagar Sathurthi and has set the ticket window on fire. From the morning shows itself the screens are seen with housefull notification especially in single screens. The film is also having an equal momentum in multiplexes too.
The film also has managed to gather some extra crowd due to the Ganesh Chaturthi holidays all over the state. Also, this adds a plus to the more popular Sivakarthikeyan film.
The film has got an excellent review from the critics which helped in getting more audience engagement.
This is an important film for Siva since the film is made on a budget of 40 Cr also this film is competing with Samantha’s U-turn, so the film needs to perform well to make the most profit.
The film opened the Box Office on Chennai around 1.01Cr and around 10Cr all over the Tamilnadu.

From my school days, my earliest memory is watching Rajini sir’s mass entertainers and I was hooked to it. I’m basically an entertainer right from my television days and my first few films were laced with comedy. When I listen to a script, the first thing I look for is whether it is entertaining enough for the audiences? The humour factor should be blended into the script and so far the box office has been kind to me.
