Ram Charan Thanks Japanese Fans For The Massive Success of Magadheera.

Rajamouli’s 2009 periodic-action film ‘Magadheera’ is minting record-breaking money at the Japanese boxoffice. The Ram Charan – Kajal Aggarwal starrer which opened to packed houses in the island nation, collected a total of approx. $ 1 Million during the first weekend itself. 

Elated with the exceptional response, Ram Charan took to Facebook and posted a ‘Thank u’ message.

According to recent reports, the dubbed film surpassed the lifetime collection of ‘Muthu’ ($ 1.6 M) and went on to become the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan. This record was held by the Rajinikanth starrer for over 20 years and ‘Magadheera’ took just 8 months to beat it.

The film became so popular in Japan that several cookies and chocolates with the name ‘Magadheera’ emerged in the local market. Ram Charan’s wife Upasana took to Twitter to share the same
