Shows massive growth compared to the opening day
Kamal Hasan’s Action-thriller is stealing the hearts of the audience at the screens and also the film has received quite a good review from the critics and everyone. So far the film has got everything it needs to get what remains is the performance of the film.
The film doesn’t get the opening as expected not only in Tamilnadu but also all over the country. The main reason behind this is the demise of Tamilnadu’s Great politician Kalaignar Karunanidhi on last Tuesday. Yet the film was able to perform on an average note.

On the opening day the total collections of Vishwaroopam were around 28 Cr Worldwide and on the 2nd day, the collections of the film were around 34 Cr.
The Chennai Box Office Collections were around 1.0 Cr on the 2nd day. The films got some little competition by the movie Pyaar Prema Kadhal which stars Newbies in the film.
In his recent Interview, Kamal Haasan Said that “I have always given a political message through my films. I have always dared to make politically relevant films. Making political comments and mimicry is satire, but I have gone beyond that. I have made a point of view that I strongly felt as a citizen and as an artist. To sensitise my audience, I have done things that were necessary. This I have been doing since the time of Thevar Magan. Apoorva Sagodharargal doesn’t fall in this category. But if you watch some of my films like Thevar Magan, Mahanadi, Hey Ram, Virumandi, Dasavathaaram, there is a geopolitical thriller attitude showcased. It is a direct impartation of what I felt is troubling me globally.”
