After dating Nick Jonas for over two months, Priyanka Chopra decided to get engaged to him and reportedly the couple is all set to tie the knot on September 16, which happens to be Nick’s birthday. However, the ‘Dostana’ actress was yet to give a confirmation on the same, even though her good friend and ‘Fashion’ co-star Kangana Ranaut had made it loud and clear that ‘Priyanka and Nick are engaged’.
But now, we have got a word from the horse’s mouth itself. PeeCee who flew down to Delhi yesterday for an interactive session on Challenging the Status Quo & Forging New Paths organised by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), finally broke her silence surround her engagement rumours. Piggy Chops said, “My personal life is not for public consumption. 90 per cent of my life is for public consumption but 10 per cent is for me. I am a girl and I have the right to keep that to myself. My family, friendship, my relationships are things I don’t think I need to defend or explain it to anyone. I am not running for the Office, so I don’t think I need to give explanations.”
The way Priyanka dodged the question is commendable. But, we hope that she makes an official announcement soon considering the truth is already out.
Coming to her work front, PeeCee has apparently bagged a big Hollywood project opposite ‘Avengers: Infinity Star’ Chriss Pratt. The film titled ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ is slated to release on June 28, 2019.
