Earlier, the film was confirmed as a Diwali release and was set to lock horns with Vijay’s 'Sarkar' at the box-office.
The hot buzz in Kollywood is that Suriya’s highly anticipated political action thriller NGK has been postponed from Diwali release .The makers of the movie had earlier announced that the movie will be out as a festive release on Diwali.
But now the Latest update from Dream Warrior Pictures is that the movie will not be released on Diwali. “We are working hard to deliver the best and deliver the same to you at the earliest. This may take a little longer than expected...the projected, so we will be bringing it to you post Diwali,” the official release said.
So, seems like Suriya fans are going to have to wait a little longer for ‘NGK’. The makers also revealed that the release details of the movie will be announced soon. Here’s the official statement

The industry grapevine is that the film could be a political drama and Suriya may play a leader.The film, which was officially launched in February 2018, also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi as the leading ladies. Being produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the team has already wrapped up the first schedule of shooting.
Recently, on a lavish budget of over Rs 3 crore, the makers recreated a set of the town of Ambasamudram. Despite rumours doing the rounds that the film could be a revived version of Selvaraghavan’s Kaan, which was launched in 2016 and dropped, sources close to the makers have rubbished the reports and clarified that the team is working on a fresh subject.
