Gold Box Office Day 6 : "Gold" Inches Closer To The Rs 100 Cr Club.

Akshay Kumar’s Gold has successfully completed its long weekend of 5 days from the day it has been released. But the film doesn’t make up the expectations of box office predictions. Some of the them has said that the film will reach 100 Cr mark by the end of Sunday but the film can’t even able to reach the 75Cr mark.

However the film has created some records and breaking some previous record too. The film has got slowed down on the past few days due to many reasons like Demise of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the national holiday for his death. Then the heavy prevailing over some states and successful running Satyameva Jayate which was released along with gold.

The film crossed 50 Cr mark on Saturday when the film has made around 12.45 Cr. And on the Sunday the film has crossed 70 Cr mark by making around 15.55 Cr.

But the surprise is that the film still managed to keep hold at the box office even on the week days too. The film on its 1st Monday made around 8.97 Cr which is higher than its Thursday box office collections.
