Gold opened on a great note on the opening day but saw a big fall on the 2nd day at the box office due to the working day. Even on the 3rd day, the film doesn’t show growth since it was a holiday too and made around 10 Cr. But the film got back again on the track on the 4th day that is the film’s 1st Saturday.
Thought the film lost its track on the last two days, Saturday provided the film a massive boost for the film at the box office.The main reason for the drop in collections is due to the demise of our former president Atal Bihari Vajpayee
The film saw a 40 % rise in collections compared to Friday, on its 1st Saturday the film made around 12.92 Cr at the box office, which is tremendous growth at the box office.
While Satyameva Jayate John Abraham’s film which was released along with Gold showing equal performance to the Akshay Kumar’s Gold.
Till now Akshay Kumar’s Gold has made around 40 Cr at the Box Office until Friday and it will definitely cross 50 Cr on Saturday. And even has the chances of crossing 60 Cr.
The film has an advantage of Parsi New Year that is prevailing all over North India.
