Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited Gold has got succeed to hit the target right and received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience for its solid content and brilliant performances. As a result, it registered the massive business of 89.30 crores in the prolonged week with 71.30 crores on the 5-days weekend and 18 crores on weekdays.

On a recent interview with Akshay, Talking about his character, the actor said, “He is a controversial guy. He is a drunk and a cheater. But within a year, he brought 11 people together, made a team and went for the Olympics, won the gold medal. I felt this story was unbelievable and needed to be told.”
